GE Healthcare's RSNA 2008 Microsite Wins Awards

The GE Healthcare's RSNA 2008 Microsite is receiving local, regional and national recognition.

The site has won an Interactive Media Award, Event Marketer Magazine Ex Award, Milwaukee Business Marketing Association (BMA) Excellence Award, Chicago BMA Tower Award and is a BMA Pro-Comm Best of Division Winner. The awards recognize the outstanding work produced for clients by agencies that demonstrate the ability to transform ideas into effective results.

“Live events are fusing with online and the results are conversations that start sooner and live on forever,” says Eric Zoromski, President at Fullhouse. “The GE Healthcare RSNA 2008 Microsite was created specifically to extend the audience experience and is still being used months after the event to access product information.”

The microsite extended GE Healthcare’s presence at the Radiological Society of North America’s largest annual radiology meeting and trade show. Online users were immersed in the live trade show experience through an expandable 3D floor plan and Product Showcase where users could view clinical images of GE Healthcare’s premier diagnostic imaging products. Blogs allowed them to be part of the conversation, a Twitter feed provided chatter from the show and a live webcam provided views from the floor. Attendees could register on the site through creating a My RSNA page. Through My RSNA a user could create a profile, schedule events for their show visit and download them to their Outlook calendar and register to receive Text/SMS message updates during the show. Products of interest could also be added for easy review through the site’s Product Showcase or by swiping their ID at the show.
